Ky-ManiWith his third untitled album nearly complete, Ky-mani definitely is a celebrity as a person in his own right. Ky-mani Marley is the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis champion) as well as Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). The singer was born on February 26 1976 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". A man who lives up the title, every album or trip is an journey of a lifetime. The musical journey started in 1999 when he released The Journey. His broad-ranging vision led Ky-mani to find the right niche for himself and discover his many talents. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae compilation was released , revealing a mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well loved by the public worldwide, and established Ky-Mani's place as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani brings together roots reggae hip hop, R&B, and contemporary jazz to create his sound.
