Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had numerous abilities, which included the ability perform, direct, produce, write plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, as is her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her work at play rehearsals. Her appearances in commercials were numerous as a young child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career.
